Job Summary

Essential Functions
Promote the Lidl culture of incredible customer service with a high-quality shopping experience
Ensure product availability, freshness, and quality standards are met
Ensure high performance of the store through efficient processes, coaching,and training
Provide hands-on support for operational tasks such as cash management, stock management, and other essential store functions
Support the recruitment, onboarding, and training of all store employees
Supervise and direct a team of employees (e.g. scheduling, staffing)
Monitor and improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to achieve weekly, monthly, and yearly targets
Maintain a clean and safe store experience for employees and customers
Oversee merchandising of product within the store, including weekly promotions and execution of plans from corporate
Oversee loss prevention efforts within the store
Ensure store opening and closing tasks are performed according to Lidl US standards
Lead by example while demonstratingour company values of recognition, respect, responsibility, and trust
Perform all other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Ability to manage personnel including Supervisors and Associates in excess of 20 employees
Fulfill requirements around the 4+1 Pillars of Sales - cleanliness, product availability, freshness, friendliness, and cost efficiency
Fundamental understanding of KPIs and the actions which impact those figures
Ability to satisfy customer needs in a friendly and efficient way
Excellent conflict management and communication skills
Results-oriented attitude
Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and apply key learnings in a fast-paced environment
Ability to delegate, lead, coach, develop, and motivate team members
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience
Must be 21 years of age or older
High school diploma/GED required
2+ years of management experience in related field or Bachelor's Degree
Must be able to obtain and maintain store alcohol licensing (Georgia & South Carolina specific)
Must have a valid US Driver's License
Physical Job Requirements
Ability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment with the capability to switch job functions/roles quickly
Ability to work in situations that involve prolonged standing, walking, squatting and/or bending
Ability to work in various conditions, such as outdoor weather conditions or freezers
Ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or seated) more than half the time
Ability to bend and twist more than half the time
Ability to maneuver cases of product (lift, move, carry, slide, etc.) in excess of 50 lbs frequently in accordance with safety regulations
Must be able to handle all Lidl products, to include but not limited to, meat, poultry, alcohol products, and food products with known allergens, such as nuts
Ability to operate machinery and/or equipment that requires the constant use of hands/fingers/wrists
The person in this position must be able to identify and distinguish between colors more than half the time
Travel Requirements
Must be flexible to travel along the US east coast (PA to GA) during training program
This position commutes between regional offices/distribution centers less than 25% of the time
Anticipated travel will be by car, air, bus, and/or train

Flexibility to relocate along with Lidl US expansion

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
